I didn't see mentioned Equal Employment Opportunity. This caused some real disruptions when it was unwisely enforced and companies denied better qualified men (husbands and fathers) in order to employ and/or promote women and/or minority races. This brought disfavor on Federal regulation as well as did some excesses or lack of wisdom in enforcing in other areas of regulation which GAVE THE REPUBLICANS PUBLIC SUPPORT for weakening the agencies. Now it all depends on the wisdom and judgment in carrying out enforcement of regulations . Republicans of today are not really an alternative, but then, again, at the moment, they are the only possible. Better hope the Dems understand moderation or they will . . . Be Gone Again !
